Barre Pilates

Barre Pilates is a fusion of  ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance and strength training.  This class is performed to highly charged motivating music.  We focus on  isometric contractions with high reps and small range movements.   We develop intrinsic muscles while lengthening and strengthening the primary movers.  You will hold the body while contracting specific muscles.   The results are rewarding – strong, flexible and lean bodies.

During this class you will plié, squat, tuck, curl and sweat!  All you need to bring to this class is yourself.   The barre, mats and small props are all available in the studio.
